For the past several years, the Patriot Guard Riders have taken the lead for the registration and staging of the Salute to American Veterans POW/MIA Recognition Ride from Woodland Park High School, 151 Panther Way, to Cripple Creek. This will be the 32nd annual Recognition Ride. Registration and staging will begin at 8:00AM on Saturday, August 17, 2019. A dozen or more volunteers would be very useful.

If you are able to assist with registration and staging, please post your intentions.

Rich "Honor Man" Blackaby and Jim "Damnit Jim" Balcerovich will serve as Ride Captains.

Please plan to meet by 7:00AM (some participants arrive very early) at the northwest corner of the High School parking lot. If you have a brightly colored safety vest, please bring it. If not, extra vests will be available.

For anyone who plans to participate in the Ride from Woodland Park to Cripple Creek, there are now length restrictions (ten feet maximum length and no trailers will be allowed).

I plan on being there and have a vest. Don't forget the reflective flags.
Does anyone know if there are any signs about the restrictions. I hate to be the bearer of bad news at the entrance. Some do not read the entire ride site.

Flyers and advertisements for the event say motorcycles and 3 wheelers only, with nothing over 10' length

The Brotherhood of Veterans M A will also be helping with Registration and staging, as they have for several years now. My understanding is that they'll be at the school by 0700.

I will plan on meeting you Todd and anyone else at Rudy's at 0600. Probably should leave there by around 0615 just in case.
