The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in honor at the Funeral and Interment Services for David E. Davenport on Tuesday, March 19, 2019.

Mr. Davenport was born on December 4, 1936 and died on March 7, 2019 at the age of 82. He served in the US Army from 1957 until 1960. He worked for the Department of Defense from 1964 until 1998 as a Chemical Weapons Handler and in Security at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal. He was a Volunteer Firefighter with the South Adams County Fire Department from 1976 until 1998.

The Funeral Service will take place at the Bullock Mortuary, 1375 East Hampden Avenue, Englewood, 80113 at 12:30PM.

11:30AM - Stage at the Bullock Funeral Home
11:45AM - Mission Briefing
NOON - Form Flag Line at the Entrance to the Funeral Home

The Interment Service is scheduled for 2:00PM, Committal Shelter A, at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Blvd., Denver, 80236.

1:15PM - Stage at the Fort Logan Visitors Center
1:30PM - Mission Briefing
1:45PM - Depart for Committal Shelter A to form Flag Line

Dave "EZ" McCabe will serve as Ride Captain.

Kathy "Rat" Goldstein will bring Flags.

Dave was the BEST Santa I ever seen, and will always remember the "talk" he gave my girls during the Fire Department Christmas Party.
John, I am sorry that I will not be able to attend the services because I have prior commitments out of town.

I will forever be grateful for his service, sacrifice, and dedication to our country and community. Rest easy now, Sir…those you have left behind to carry on without you have the watch.
