The Colorado Patriot Guard Riders have a standing Memorial Mission that takes place at Ft Logan National Cemetery in Denver. This mission happens at 1100 (11:00 am) at Area 'A' on the second Saturday of each month, and is done to give honor to all the veterans buried in the previous month who did not receive military honors at their service. Names are read off with their branch of service, and military honors are given to all. These missions can sometimes be for 40+ heroes and can have a lot of family and friends of these heroes present, and are very emotional missions.
These missions are the direct result of the work done by our own former Ride Captain Crazy Bob Zimmerman, Ft Logan National Cemetery, and the members of the All Veterans Honor Guard.

Staging for these missions takes place at the Visitor's Information Center on the right side just inside the main gate.
Stage - 1000 (10:00 am)
Mission Brief - 1015 (10:15 am)
Move to Area 'A' - 1030 (10:30 am)
Ride Captains for each month will volunteer in posts below, and hopefully arrangements will be made to bring flags each month. If you have your own flag, you are always encouraged to bring it.
The dates for this mission for the current calendar year are as follows:
11 Sep
09 Oct
11 Dec
There is not a mission in November because Veteran's Day falls that same week.

I earlier indicated I could RC this event and bring flags. I may still be able to attend, but because of some family obligations the night before and earlier the morning of this Memorial, I will not be able to help run it. There is still s week to go, so hopefully somebody else can step up and take this mission.
