My name is Arvin Van Ry and served in the National Guard 1965-1972. I never saw combat and was not called to active duty.
I greatly respect those who are serving at this time and have served in the past in defense of our country.
I joined this weekend and wish to do my part to support those who have suffered a loss such as has taken place this past weeks with the loss of SGT Faith R. Hinkley. I was deeply moved by the event and by the support of those who had traveled so far to support the family at this difficult time.
I hope that the message sent will be that we will never forget our defenders who are willing to put it all on the line for those folks back home.

Hello, I am Tade. I have been riding for a few years now and have been to one other event where the PGR was there (the welcoming back of LCpl. John Doody). This is a great organization and I am proud to be a member of it.

It was a honor to be a part of this group and what it stands for. Looking forward to serving again as needed. And yes a happier occasion would be nice. Perhaps a welcome home would be in order.

First off, I had the honor of being one of the local riders for Sgt Faith Hinkley's memorial. Thank you one and all for being there for her family and her community. You were all I had hoped the PGR would be. God Bless you all.
So for my intro, I'm retired USAF and my wife is still currently serving with the NMANG. We enjoy riding our bikes and our horses, but never seem to do enough of either.
Thanks again for all you do!

ABE: A big "Thank you" for letting me ride with you up to Cripple Creek today. You are a very accomplished "Trike Master" and I felt very relaxed serving as your backrest!!! Almost fell asleep back there. The rally was fantastic. "Doc Roger"

Hi, I'm Will. I am currently serving in the infantry, 4th ID, at Ft Carson. I served three combat tours and will soon, end of next May, be heading to Ft Benning for a drill tour.
I have seen first hand the great things PGR has done for vets and sevice members. I would consider it a privilage to stand with you and honor servise member past and present. I would like to ride as often as unit schedule allows.

I have a question, my girl friend insists i can wear an 'army veteran' patch. i am of the opinion that this would imply combat veteran, which i am not. did 10yrs active duty, 7 nat'l guard, but was never placed in harms way, and would not want to dishonor those who were.

thanks

Mike
