CONFIRMED MISSION FOR: SGT. Adam Villanueva, 62, United States Marine Corps, Viet Nam Veteran, Lakewood, Colorado.
The family of SGT. Adam Villanueva, 62, United States Marine Corps, Viet Nam Veteran, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders of Colorado to stand in his Honor on, Thursday, 2 February with committal service @ 2:30pm Fort Logan National Cemetery Shelter "B".
SGT. Adam Villanueva, USMC, was born in New Braunfels, Texas on June 25, 1949 and passed away on January 25, 2012. He served in the United States Marine Corps from February 16, 1969 to November 24, 1974 as a Radio Telephone Operator.
He was awarded the following awards and decorations: Viet Nam Service Medal with 1 Bronze Star, Viet Nam Cross of Gallantry with Palm and Frame, National Defense Service Medal, Rifle Sharpshooter Badge, Pistol Marksman Badge and the Good Conduct Medal. He served two very difficult tours in Viet Nam. After leaving the United States Marine Corps he worked for the Coors Brewing Company in Golden, Colorado for 35 years.
