The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to the Interment Service for Dick Bergen, WWII, US Army Air Corps Veteran, to be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd, Denver, on Tuesday, January 31st, at 2:00PM, Pavilion A.
Wanda and I consider ourselves privileged to have known Dick. We were guardians on the October, 2010, Honor Flight that took him and his brother Dave, also a WWII Veteran, to Washington, DC. to see their Memorial. We have stayed in touch and have met them for lunch on several occasions. Dick passed away suddenly on January 17th. We have a few great stories involving Dick that I will share at the briefing next Tuesday.
