CONFIRMED MISSION FOR: – Mr. Joe Manzanares, 69, Airman First Class, United States Air Force Veteran, Denver, Colorado.

The family of Mr. Joe Manzanares, 69, Airman First Class, United States Air Force Veteran, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders of Colorado to stand in his Honor on, Friday, 20 January 2012, with committal service @ 11:15am Fort Logan National Cemetery Shelter "C".

This will be a two part mission.

Part 1:

Mr. Joe Manzanares, 69, Airman First Class, United States Air Force Veteran services will be held on Friday 20 January 2012 at 09:30am at Harvey Park Christian Church, 3401 South Lowell, Denver, Colorado. We have been invited to provide a Flag Line at the church and a motorcycle escort from the church to Ft Logan. The family is expected to arrive at the church at 09:00am. After the service, Joe’s remains will be transported in the procession to Fort Logan on his friend’s trike.

Joe was born in San Pablo, Colorado on 19 September 1943 and passed away on 11 January 2012. He was stationed at Grand Forks Air Force Base from March 1961 to December 1963 and worked in the Motor Pool as a mechanic. In his years after the Air Force he moved to Denver and worked for Comcast, Sears and for the last 12 years as a Bail Bondsman.

Part 2:

The committal service will be Friday, 20 January 2012 at 11:15am at Fort Logan National Cemetery. The service will be held at Committal Shelter “C”. If you cannot make the services at Harvey Park Christian Church, stage at the Fort Logan Visitor Center at 10:15am.
