The VA Hospital Ice Cream Social schedule for 2012 is:
14 JANUARY
11 FEBRUARY
10 MARCH
14 APRIL
12 May

10 NOVEMBER
08 DECEMBER
The dates are the second Saturday of each month. The VA Hospital is located at 1055 Clermont Street, in Denver. We stage at 1:30PM, in the Community Room, and begin serving ice cream to the Residents by 2:00PM. For those that are new PGR Members or have not had the opportunity to participate in these Socials, they are uplifting experiences for both the Resident's and for the Volunteers.
The Community Room is just inside and to the left of the northern most entrance on Clermont Street.

The annual Performing Arts Festival rehearsals have been taking place at the VA Hospital for a couple of months now. The Final event will be taking place on Saturday, March 10th. The performances will be recorded for submission for the National competition. Volunteers are needed to assist in areas such as helping with costume changes, sound, lighting and timing of the performances. Up to five volunteers could be used, beginning at Noon, on Saturday. There are many more women performers this year, therefore, they could use at least two women volunteers. If you can assist, please plan to be in the Auditorium of the VA Hospital, 1055 Clermont, by Noon, and ask for Donna Lonergan, Recreational Therapist.
