The VA Hospital Ice Cream Social schedule for 2012 is:
14 JANUARY
11 FEBRUARY
10 MARCH
14 APRIL
12 May
09 JUNE
14 JULY
11 AUGUST
08 SEPTEMBER
13 OCTOBER
10 NOVEMBER
08 DECEMBER
The dates are the second Saturday of each month. The VA Hospital is located at 1055 Clermont Street, in Denver. We stage at 1:30PM, in the Community Room, and begin serving ice cream to the Residents by 2:00PM. For those that are new PGR Members or have not had the opportunity to participate in these Socials, they are uplifting experiences for both the Resident's and for the Volunteers.
The Community Room is just inside and to the left of the northern most entrance on Clermont Street.

Can't make the one this Saturday; I'll be at the Purple Heart ceremony for Joel Hunt. However, anyone mind if I come to the 10 March social and bring my guitar again?

It has been a rough year for viruses. We will not be able to access the VA Hospital Nursing Home on the first floor. For this month only, we will be gathering at the VA Hospital Annex (building 7) at 11th and Bellaire which is two blocks west of Clermont. In order to insure that our group makes it to this new location in tact, let's meet at Anthony's Pizza, 700 Colorado Blvd. by 1:45PM. We will depart for the VA at 2:00PM. We will be starting a bit later than usual, but, the number of Veterans we will serve will be reduced considerably.

Rich, would you be willing to bring your guitar to Fitzsimons on Sunday, March 11th rather than to the VA on March 10th? We generally get a much larger gathering of residents to the Community Room at Ftizsimons that we do at the VA Hospital.
You last performed at Fitzsimons and I know they would love to hear you again.
